To qualify as a registered hybrid, both parent dogs must first be
registered with the AMW Registry.
**For
a limited time AMW is registering Foundation Stock free of charge to breeders
who request that designation in addition to their dogs standard
registration. (Example: Breeders’ dog “Barney”, a toy poodle registered #
R-46TP9964, can have the additional registration as Foundation Stock stud
R-FS46P9964 for the purpose of cross breeding with a Yorkshire Terrier, Cocker
Spaniel, Maltese, Shih Tzu, etc.. “Barney” will have a registration showing he
is a foundation stock dog. When bred to an AMW foundation stock Dam, his
offspring will be a recognized, registered hybrid litter. - Yorkie-Poo, Cockapoo,
Malti-Poo, Shih-Poo, etc.)
