Registered Hybrids ~ Designer Dogs ~ New
Breeds ~ Foundation Registry
AMW
provides registration services for Foundation (New Breed)
Clubs. Because AMW
can provide the latest in computer technology to maintain
and upgrade records for these groups, the Archives give
great support technology to fledgling groups. To qualify as
a “New Breed Club”, one must first have a set breed
standard, (type of coat, height and weight of both dogs and
bitches, weight range, bone structure, tail carriage, ear
set, colors, personality traits, any other specialized
traits, and any disqualifying features). All dogs bearing an
“FR” as the prefix to their permanent
AMW
registration number have been bred from dogs meeting these
standards.
Individual owners who have their dogs registered under our
Foundation Registry and New breed Clubs must either submit a
registration form notarized by your breed club secretary,
or send a completed form with four photos showing front,
back, and both sides of dog being submitted, along with
required fees. (Photos become property to
AMW. Fee will be
refunded if our panel of judges challenges the application
or photo evidence and adjudge “doubtful breeding”.)

Registered Hybrids,
also known in the U.S. as “Designer Dogs”, are hybrids bred
from AMW
registered dogs specifically to produce the hybrid puppy.
